“I often surprise myself by saying, ‘Wow, this is it. I guess I’m happy. I got a home I love. A career that I love. I’m even feeling more and more at peace with myself.’ If there’s something else to happiness, let me know. I’m ambitious for that, too.” —Harrison Ford, actor. 13. If you chase anything in life chase the things that get you excited about living. Chase the things that give you hope, happiness and a glimpse of a better life. Chase the things that make you want to be a better person. Chase the things that inspire you to think, create and live joyfully. Chase the things that reinforce in your soul that you can make a difference. Chase the things that make you want to transform your heart from selfish to selfless. When you chase that kind of storm you are chasing rainbows. ― Shannon L. Alder
Poems are the most romantic things the world has saw since its birth! Well, we cannot be sure that this very fact is close to the reality, but it can be proven by the majority of the women who are happy in relationships or even in marriage already. There is a simple detail in poems: with those rhymes and rhythms they touch even the moodiest and saddest souls, making them opened, affected, and overjoyed. Try to wake up your woman with a poem and imagine her gladsome smile.
Anytime you start to get caught up in the way others think about you, remember this quote. You don’t need to think about what others think of you, and there’s a lot of reasons why you shouldn’t waste time thinking about it. There’s no way to know exactly what they think of you, and there’s no way to control what they think. The only thing you can control is the things you think about, and when you stop wasting time on thinking about people that don’t matter, you can focus more on the things that are truly important.

“When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares.”
Best friends send a “check in-text” to see if you need an excuse to end your date early.  They show up with seven-up and movies when you are sick, and they don’t give up shopping until you have found the perfect wedding dress.  True friends hang out after your party and help you clean up and do the dishes.  They show up with meals after your baby is born, and they offer to take your toddler to the park when they know you need a break.
Jim Rohn famously said that you are the average of the five people you spend the most time with. There is an inherent truth to that, as we, as social creatures, pick up on the habits, behaviors, and attitudes of those around us. What that means is that if you want the strength and positivity to get through anything, you must keep your circle of friends and associates as healthy as you can. Wherever possible, you must remove toxic relationships from your life, regardless of how tough it may be. And in situations such as work where you many not have control, you must learn how to practice positivity so its spreads to those around you.
Thank you for these quotes Ellesse. I know it has been quite a while since this was posted but I just stumbled across them and I thought all of these quotes were inspiring. Unfortunately, I did not get the time to read all of the comments today but I hope to change that soon. I would have several quotes to tell you but when I started to think of inspirational quotes I could only think of the one that has helped me through some difficult times in life. I don’t know if it is considered inspirational, but it was to me. In fact, it was so inspirational that my high school graduation present from my mother was a ring engraved with this quote:
